Williams identifies three generic uses of the noun: (i) its abstract and independent form, which designates a general process of intellectual development, spiritual and aesthetic from the XVIII; (II) the form that indicates a determined way of life of a town, a group or the humanity generally (Herder, Klemm); (III) and that one that describes to the works and practices of the intellectual and specifically artistic activity. This one last sense to be used and takes to associate culture with `música', `literatura', `pintura', `teatro', `cine', etc. The difficulty partly is because apparently in the debate of the term, it is necessary to generally solve tie aspects to the relation between the human development and a determined way of life.
